I take on frontend development and provide operational support for the web ecosystem of GW Medicine, the academic medical enterprise of The George Washington University.
Patient-facing UI/UX Enhancement and Development
I have designed and developed enhanced styles for frequently used UI elements and have created new components to modernize and improve the online experience for GW MFA patients. Notable ones include:
- Provider profile and practice location cards
- Filterable "Find a Specialty" list
- Visual calendar for location closures
- Call-to-action buttons
Custom Automation Tooling
I developed a few internal tools for myself and my team that have majorly expedited content updates, website audits, and migration projects.
A GUI tool enabling quick generation of a faculty member's profile HTML to aid in updating any SMHS department faculty pages.
Faculty Profile Migration Toolkit
Two command-line tools which scraped several thousand lines of faculty profile HTML and mass-updated the markup with new structure, classes and URLs to be in sync with a relaunched faculty database.
MyChart Scheduling Link Scanner
A command-line tool that flags any broken MyChart provider scheduling links on the MFA website in less than a minute.

January - August 2022I redesigned and rebuilt two Boston University School of Medicine websites using modern WordPress.
BUSM Department of Pharmacology, Physiology & Biophysics
Collaborated with faculty for feature and design needs, wrote extensive new CSS styles, procured and optimized site assets.
